Bowling Green, KY (November 15, 2023) – Republican State Representative for Kentucky’s 17th District Dr. Robert Duvall launched his reelection campaign today to continue serving the people of Warren County in the State House. Dr. Duvall, a Bowling Green optometrist, is a proven conservative leader with the experience and relationships to deliver results in Frankfort.
Following a successful first term in Frankfort, Duvall filed his paperwork for reelection with more than $70,000 on hand.

About Robert
Dr. Robert Duvall is a strong conservative with pro-Second Amendment and pro-growth beliefs. In 2021, he was elected to represent Warren County in the Kentucky State House of Representatives.
In his first term, Robert delivered for the people of Warren County by championing two bills that have now become law. One of those measures opened the door for Kentucky to receive federal funding to address radon, which is the leading cause of lung cancer in Kentucky among non-smokers. Robert is working hard to raise public awareness to prevent his horrible disease.
Robert has practiced optometry in Bowling Green for nearly 30 years. His team has been called the Best Eye Doctors by the Bowling Green Daily News four years in a row.
From early on, Robert knew that education and hard work were the way to a better life. He lived in a mobile home for his first 15 years, watching his father—a World War II veteran—drive a truck and run a small business. His mother worked hard at home to provide for their family. Robert learned the value of a day’s work helping his dad in the family business. Through all the challenges, he always had life’s real essentials: faith, family, and friends.
Robert studied hard at WKU before attending optometry school at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Robert has been blessed with a loving wife of 30 years, Amy, and three sons, Alex, Will, and Grayson. The Duvalls attend Living Hope Baptist Church, where Robert has served as deacon chairman and elder chairman. Through his leadership in the church, Robert supported the establishment of the Centers for Hope, a pregnancy and counseling center, and Hope House, which addresses physical and spiritual poverty in the community.
